Hi all,
Im trying to find out what suspension the MK2 RS2000's had. Im looking to replace it all with new stuff, probably monroe GT gas shocks and kings springs/leaves , however when ordering the springs what height do you ask for. 2L springs would suggest to me off a 2L GL, or ghia but I thought the RS's had slightly lower/stiffer suspension than a standard 2L esky as well as rear swaybar. Im restoring the car to fairly standard spec .
               cheers

The Aussie RS's had the same running gear as the other 2ltrs apart from the rear sway bar if I recall.

Here's a link to a Kings spring package.  Pretty good value too.

If you can afford to get better shocks you won't regret it.  They'll make a massive difference.

Good luck,

Matt

Im sure I remember reading somewhere that they had "sports" suspension which was a bit lower and stiffer,  Im guessiing it would be the same as the rally pack escorts

Oh, and of course, RS had 22mm front sway bar

so this means that the rear leafs on the RS are the same as a 2L GL? which would mean with the front end being lower the RS had a nose down stance?
