If anyone could be of assistance im in the process of building up a mk1 and wanting to use it for an occasional track day and street car etc. From your experience what type of susoension will be better suited? Any advise on springs / shocks would be appreciated. (Konis/Gaz/Bilsteins)
 
* Front end will have coil overs with volvo/tx3 brake upgrade
* Rear will be hilux diff  leaf sprung with R31 calipers and just waiting on confirmation for rotors.

Have a look in the suspension section as you'll learn a lot going through the various questions on what setups people are using.
