small update...
ive had a bit of time off work so ive got stuck into the escort again, focused on underneath to get that done and out of the way...
i stripped all the old deadener off which was a very messy job and im glad its done! the ammount of of old grime, dirt and oily deadener was insane! well worth getting filthy for though
buffed it all back to bare metal and gave the lot a hit with etch primer, then seam sealed the entire chassis and body.
i went and bought a stone gaurd gun from queensland paint supplys and 5 1l cans of stone gaurd
masked the entrie car up and got stuck into it today... pretty happy with the finished product a million times better then it was..
i went with the stone gaurd over the body deadener because i wanted a product that sets hard and doesnt hav a massive stipple, i spent hours and hours scraping the old deadener off so i wanted somthing that will last longer and will be easier to keep clean compared to the tar based body deadener..
also my new bushes for the entire car arrived so i can 2 pac the diff and leaf springs and get them back in for the final time!
