275 60 will balloon on that sized rim, you'll want a 9-10" rim. speedo will also be out about 25%.

are you also going to get it engineered as it will be over the legal limit with the rim size?

275 60's are to go on a 7.5 - 9.5 ich rim.
The speedo will also depend on my diff gears.
I will get it engineered some time in the future...

OK i was a lil ambitious 275 60 15's wont fit on a forest arched Mk2 4door... too tall.
I got my hands on a 275 50 15, They would fit. They would have a lil bit of suspension travel its close, the single leaf springs are pretty stiff. I have found i can get a 265 50 15 Avenger so I will be going with them.

Note 275's look f**kin tough from behind. Sorry i dont have pics my sister left the camera at her boyfriends.

Arches will help fit in biger tyres. I dont think you said you had arches in the beginning. Wide tyres do look very tough in an escort.[:x)]

lol. I know lol.
I have looked at all the numbers and it'll all good. The gearing of my car will be std if not a lil taller by the time im done. I will also have the speedo cable geared so its correct that doesnt bother me.

Won't you want bigger than 7" wide on the front or will you be running spacers?

The offset doesn't appear to look like it will fill the front gaurds.

The 8" rears look the goods. If only I could fit the 8" versions of them on my Mk2. Top choice!

Thanks man.
The fronts will have the hoppers stoppers kit or equivalent. So the replacement hubs at 10mm Im told. And the disc brake will add 6-8mm and iff needed i will use a spacer. The 7's are pos8 offset tho they don't look it.
