P10162 for Escorts looks identical to Capri master, and my PBR Books tell me they employ EXACTLY the same
repair/overhaul kit. Brand new Master is less than $200 which is a good price and better than re-sleeving and the chances you take with re-sleeving, such as
1/"sorry, I've lost your master cyl"
2/ "we've never had one leak before"
3/ "you must've done something wrong when you installed it"
4/ "sorry if our re-sleeving is dearer, than a new master, it was harder than we thought"
5/ "what do you mean we've sent you back a different Master?"
6/ etc
Does anyone know if the tube nut ports are same on escort as capri ?
and if mounting flange is common to both ?
and if piston to pushrod measurements are same ?
