I'm in Adelaide and picked up a Capri rear axle and torsion bars. Not sure what model if anyone needs one. Complete drum to drum. PM with an offer if interested if not I'll weight it in...

As Capri's came out with two very different rear axles, the 1600cc 4-cyl and 3000cc V6, I wonder which one it is? If you measure the width of the brake drums, that'll give us a clue. The 1600cc ones will be 1.75 inches wide, whereas the 3-litre ones were 2.25' wide from recollection!

Or the 4 cyl centre is removed from the front the V6 from the rear and much harder to replace the centre.

yup, 4 cylinder diff
What ratio? Some had 3.89:1 1600cc and 3.77:1 for GT1600.
May still have a small metal tag under one of the diff centre bolts.
(I'm only into V6s , others may want to know)
