Tim,
Ideally a running or near running 2l would be great.
Don't need gearbox or exhaust, but having the rest would be a bonus and save a lot of running around.

Please call me on 0435 997 945 as I have several overhauled engine available.
These have had cranks checked for cracks, either linished or ground to the nearest undersize, blocks hot tank cleaned, inspected bored and honed,all new brass welch plugs fitted, new cast pistons fitted to rods, rods have been checked for straightness and crack detected and mains resized, rods/crank/flywheel and clutch cover have been balanced individually and as an assembly. These engine are not assembled and can be inspected, and will be sold either assembled or not assembled, full set of new mains and big ends, new OHC drive belt - options include dowelled crank with custom 4140 flywheel and new ring gear but these will not be cheap. Have also available standard and ported heads also not a cheap option. Heads have been inspected for cracks NDT and both cold and hot bath tests have been carried out as a lot of 2 litre heads have been overheated and have cracks that only show when under operating normal stressed conditions. The engines are in storage and will need to be collected if you want to inspect-

I have a multiple cut sectioned "EB" head that proves if these heads are better or not that the standard head.
But that is another discussion.
