Hi guys thought I would post some photos of my current mk1 escort project race car if I can get photos to load, this is a complete rebuild of my mk1 which used to be blue, bare metal respray, hours of fabrication, every nut and bolt has been replaced, hope you enjoy

Sounds great. Try opening a photobucket account and then upload images to there and link back to here. Easier done than it sounds.

Can I ask why you used the custom arches as opposed to the full bubble arch? Was it a regs thing?

yes was a reg thing, improved production regs don't allow the flares to go up as high on the body as bubble arches do, I kinda didn't want to use bubble arches anyway as I didn't want to open up the wheel arch opening so I could tuck the tyres in under the guards, we modelled these flares on bubble arches

Thanks guys for the comments, the colour is true red, it is the fiesta and Mazda 2 red, it is eye hurting in the sun. I turned it down a bit with the stripes, thought is was a little too red

Car looks great! Just quickly though - have you consulted an IP Eligibility Officer about the holes in the front panel? My understanding is they are not IP legal.
