Hi All,
 
Does anyone have any pictures/ diagrams of how the twin headlight assembly of an RS 2000 should look- ie. the actual mounting plates for the lights? Does the the angled or the square side face the outside?  Mine is a 1980 2door model. Lost my original picture and it's been 2 years in the rebuild so that  memory of detail not that good.  Any assistance appreciated.

Thanks for the image, excellent detail.  Judging from the part numbers has this come from a parts microfiche or book??  Can you let us know the source as details for the car are hard to come by and it would be good to be able to put things back together properly.

The only other RS specific pics I've got are the ones attached. I got these trawling forums but sadly this is all I have. I don't know what the original source of these are.
 


 

 
One of our forum members has done the hard yards to exactly copy the original Ford Escort incl Australian RS2000 and European RS2000 microfiche onto CD.
Maybe he can help?

That would be an awesome piece of reference material.  can you give us his contact details? if other forum members wanted a copy I'm sure they would be happy to pay for a copy, if that is something the forum member is prepared to do.
