Hi all
On the weekend i got an old Type 9 5 speed for free that needs rebuilding and i curently have a 4 speed with a Tran-x straight cut gear set in it.
Id like to know if the gears themselves are interchangable? id like to use the gears i can out of the 4 speed and only need to buy the 5th gear and longer layshaft from Tran-x if it is at all possible to do.. (obviously to save $$)
Has anyone tried this before or are they to different to not bother?
