i drilled a start hole then used some cutters, then a die grinder to the final size... smaller holes were with a hole saw.

thanks...

Ive pretty much completed the rebuild of the new engine.. obviously not everyones cup of tea, being a non ford engine.. and... at the end of the day, it could have been another cosworth with the money its cost...

If so inclined... more detail about the engine build can be found on this "nissan" site... please beware, it has a fair percent of [:o)]'s..

Looks like a serious build. with quite a few custom bits...

What size TB's are you hiding?

they are a set of 45mm throttles... the manifold is blurred as its a custom mod that would have a few people jump on the bandwagan as its basically a very simple modification from its original form, which ive never seen, nor know of being done before.. and Id like to have my car finished before I see someone else claiming the idea as their own ..
yes.. plently of custom bits... I cant simply put something back on as it came off.. bad habit really.

on a side note... got an engineering appointment on Friday.. so far it looks like im going to require approval on 14 seperate approval codes [:u].. just hope that these 14 are achievable. fingers are crossed

This is a really cool build, cant wait to see this thing sitting on its wheels at its ride height, guessing its going to be low with that exhaust tunnel! Keep going, looks like like flying through now

cheers.. been about a year so far, since i started everything all over again..

have been given the green light by the engineer, with a few minor revisions, so just need to get the approval in concept from the transport dep and full steam ahead, hope to be painted this summer... then at some point, road registered
well chuffed

car will be lowish, nothing silly, but there is too much road kill down my way, and ive learen't that lesson... burning rotting flesh is a very unplesant experience.

finalised seatin and wheel position
