Will be doing the JB4077 slave cyl swap tomorrow, this post saved me a pile of time.  ALso I have just posted a request for help in the general "Gearbox" section regarding how I get the selector sleeve off the shaft if anyone can assist (rather than hijack Stefans post)

i been reading and seen a v6 capri with a rx8 gearbox onto the v6 mtrs ..wonder if somebody knows where to get the bellhousing from

a guy - freddy686868 - ebay UK - makes adaptor plates for these - not sure if he does one for the Essex.

I posted on the xr8 boxes not long ago. The guy from p9cyoplates seemed very bodgy with lots of English people waiting months for stuff. Or not getting it at all or if they did it wouldn't line up. Their was someone else doing them who at least laser cut them but had not done Essex yet. And the only way with rx8 was adapter plate.

Any idea how the shaft is modified Spud15? For some reason that looks very long.

No but CRS had a habit of totally replacing input shafts on a given box to get a result

U are best to use the shorter XF falcon t5 - commodore t5’s are a lot longer
