New to the forum so I thought I would say hello and ask for some advice at the same time.  I have recently acquired a Mk2 2 door with some interesting rust issues.  Most of them are easily fixable but the one that I was wondering about was the drivers side rain gutter which is virtually no existent.  What are the options?  I would prefer not to have to source a roof cut (but if anyone has one with good gutters and pillars let me know)  Can they be fabricated and welded on by someone with the skill (not me!).

Hey mate, another canberra (Queanbeyan) driver here, similar colour 2 door aswell... Have you seen the $500 4 door car on gumtree which is in belconnen? Maybe you could offer on that and complete your repairs..
 

thanks for the heads up.  Went and took a look but nothing that I could use on it.  The bits I need are mostly from a coupe only and the four door wont fit.

I'll keep an ear out for ya, the 2 doors as you may well know are pretty tricky to find around Canberra!
