Ford Escort Mk2 first registered 1980. 1.6lt, 4speed manual.
Runs and drives, steers,stops but is out of registration as I had let it lapse, however I do still have the number plates.
Great restorer or could be a daily with a little bit of love.
Body can be described as clean from a 5-10 metres away but close up its showing it age in areas. Namely rear of vehicle, it has rust in both bottom corners of rear windscreen, and both rear lower quarter/boot well sections.
Front lower corner below window on drivers side also has started to break out.
The left rear quarter has has a crease and ding, there is a ding in the front lower valance, ding in rear drivers side where bumper mounts and in bumper itself and some small dings in roof.
Firewall and Floors are good. The heater dome itself has rust on the front face of it. - Please review all pictures.
Front seats are in poor condition with passenger seat starting to crack up. Driver side seat has a well worn bolster.
Rear seat is very good condition. Doors trims good condtion, no holes. Dash pad has cracks.
As far as I know everything electrically still works.
Car will come on standard steel rims with blackouts, tyres need replacing as they are worn. I put on a set of my rims with road worthy tyres whilst I was driving it (these do not come with car).
I have alot of history for the car, receipts wise dating back to the early 80's.
I have tried to describe things as relative as possible probably being harder on it than I should, it is an old car with dents and rust (worst all pictured), not as good as some but alot better than others.
