Hi Mate,

I just picked up one of these - http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/OIL-CATCH-CAN-BREATHER-TANK-2-LITRE-FILTER-OIL-BREATHER-CATCH-CAN-TANK-/110882949352?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item19d12388e8

I need one as if you intend to do any racing you need a minimum of 2ltrs for the catch can.

My understanding of the benefits is that it stops the oil rich fumes being recirculated through the engine thus improving the quality of air being used.

Cheers,

Matt

What level of blow-by are people on here getting when doing a track day?
I had to plumb in a catch can rather hastily a couple of weeks ago at a track day and ended up with 150-200ml of oil in it after 10 laps flat out (running YB turbo).
I had driven the car on the road for a couple of months before hand and had pretty well nothing. Compression test shows 145psi on all cylinders (+/- 5psi).

Just interested as to what others are seeing when running at high revs constantly (5-7k).
