driving is better because then ill have transport when im up there. i wonder if my 1600 4 door daily would make it. the longest its gone in one trip is 500k did that pretty well too sitting on 4100rpm the whole way

Whooligan a bunch of the Small Ford Car Club guys from Sydney are staying at Reservoir and there is a pretty good pub across the road where we gratefully taste test their beer and beef Saturday and Sunday.

Is that a place you guys could go? Has a pretty big car park and outside tables.

Being we're non-Mexicans we'd need to meet at a place that was easy to get to.

well it looks like i wont be able to make it. i have commitment on the Saturday night and the Monday morning.

so unless i drive at like 2am on Saturday and drive back Sunday night ( which probably isint smart with no sleep) i dont think i can make it.

naturally that is the only weekend i have commitments for the next few months [8~2]

If any one is struggling for accomodation let me know.

Hoping to be there. Racing the car at Haunted Hills Hillclimb on Saturday, Small Ford Sunday on the way home. All going to plan that is!!

Hey all, I was in Melbourne for Australia Day (Yesterday) and was dissappointed to only see three classic small Fords there. One Mk1 Cortina, one Mk2 Cortina and one TC Cortina. No Capri's, Escorts, Sierra's... nothing.

The Gardens and Domain was filled with rare and classic cars, from an 1885 Mercedes to a Lotus Excel. There was even a Mercedes 300 SL (Gull Wing), Singers and enough Packards to poke with a stick.

Was this an invite only event?
