yer the sump turned out real good not bad for somethin he spent 13hrs on. i wish i could say it but nar its gettin done properly by a shop if i done it i would never be happy with it.

the engine will be fine straigh, it actualy worked out better goin in straight plus i asked for it to be straight, just had to modify the oil pick up so i dont get air lock. just looks alot better being straight but it just puts the gearbox on an angle instead but i can deal with that.

should be all finished with in a week or to so will post pics of it when its all finished.

Don't quote me on this, but I read somewhere that the reason the FJ20DET (and RWD SR20 for that matter) is mounted on a angle has something to do with engine/crankshaft balance at high RPM, as well as inlet manifold clearence(but this wouldn't matter for SR, so.. [x2x]). As I said, don't know if that is definitive or not.

Top job, but you should've avoided making changes to the steering geometry. You will/might not like how it will handle, specialy on uneven high speed corners. But I guess this wouldn't be an issue if straight line acceleration is your thing.[;^)]

yer i know there put in on the angle for a reason cause if they didn't have to they would of been straight from factory, but i bought the engine off a shop that has 5 dattos 1200 and all of them have the engine straight, plus one of them is a drag car that make's inbetween 650-700hp so i thought if they have had no dramers couldnt see the problem with mine and they even told me to put it straight.

and as for the steering, had no choice unless i dint want my car to start.

It could be the x in between the numbers in the file name that is upsetting things. The easiest guaranteed fix is to rename your pics pic1,pic2,pic3 etc before uploading. it'll work every time
