well ripped off the rear wheels & drums to find leaking rear wheel cylinders.. would this give the pedal somewhat a spongey feel?

Any hydraulic leak will cause a spongy feel. I thought the first roady bloke told you that they were leaking. Didn't you fix them?

nope, got distracted by other things and must have forgot about them, mainly because they werent leaking enough to make the handbrake stick.

i messaged someone ages ago to buy some (never used, sat around in shed) and they never got back to me, im gonna try bursons 2moro...

Don't buy them when they've been sitting in a shed.. Get a new pair. If you ask for them to suit a 1.6 they are about $25 each complete brand new.

The 2L ones are very expensive and only slightly different. The 1.6L ones will fit and you won't know the difference.

From memory PBR numbers are;

64677551 - 3/4" 2ltr original equipment but cost mega $$$$$$
P10033 - 11/16"
P10034 - 3/4" (from cortina, identical to 64677551)
P10035 - 13/16"

all identical outer dimensions, should be able to get any of the P series for $30-$35 each

cheers, i always ask for 1600 stuff simply because the car is a 1600 and im not tottally sure of what is different to 2ltr shells.

The part numbers you need are these:

1600: P10033 These are 11/16 bore

2 litre: P10035 These are 3/4 Bore

If you order the 2 litre cylinders by this part number they arent any more expensive than the 1600 jobs.
