After having received some good advice in the HELP forums, I am changing direction on my front end rebuild and am looking for a pair of Escort 2 Litre front strut assemblies to replace the 1600 ones in my Mk2 Van.

Would prefer struts complete with springs & top caps, and splash shields. Hubs, discs and calipers optional - if they're still bolted on and they're good, I'll take them as complete assemblies.

I will be using new cartridges in these, so condition of those isn't important. Will probably need the retaining gland nuts though.

Please, don't offer me just any old struts with dings in the tubes or bent arms or with spring platforms cut off. All I want to do is to find good straight struts, have them blasted, painted and bolted into my daily driver. (I don't want to have the van engineered just because of coilover mods) Adelaide pickup is preferred, but will happily pay freight from interstate for really good ones

I have some here. The inserts are destroyed, and the top mounts are rooted. Dont have the guard thing that sits behind the rotor. The discs were machined before roadworthy and was told they were at the limit. Calipers were repaired by Wodonga brake and clutch to pass roadworth and bearings replaced aswell (dont know if they are still good) only traveled 20,000 km after the roadworthy till it was pulled off the road.

I'll get some pics of them for you tomorrow. I basically live in Albury/Wodonga so freight could be a lil bit. So If no one closer has any... but im guessing someone will.
