ok before the body goes to the panel betters is there anything that needs to be modified, like im guessing the clutch cable hole will need to be added just after some info cheers luke

Probably the most significnt thing is thehole and sleeve for the clutch cable in the firewall. I have seen this done really badly on some cars.

The best way i think is to cut that section our of a manual shell and then weld it into your auto shell.

Just drilling a hole isnt enough as the cltch cable exits the firewall on an angle.

yeah ive got a manual parts car, so as far as bolting up the shifter location and crossmember dont need to be changed?

Yer it sits on about a 45deg down angle, best to elongate the hole to let the clutch tube slide into the bulkhead, weld in at desired length then cut away any part on the inside so the pedalbox can bolt up flush. make sure the area is clean from rust/paint to get welds to sink in.

no worrys sounds good, im lovin the room in the tunnel though sooo worth tracking down an auto body to start with me thinks
