Just converted my 2 litre Mk2 escort from automatic to manual. I am after a speedo cable and the plastic boot that covers the gear level on the side of the gearbox.

ps, If anyone needs any auto parts from a Mk2 I have the transmission and associated cables free to a good home. I am located in Canberra.

If you don't have any luck here in Australia try UK eBay - both items are the same as for the Kent engines. The rubber clutch boots tend to go rock hard over time and even good used ones can be a pain to fit into the gearbox opening. NOS rubber boots (still soft) crop up on eBay from time to time but fetch good money for what they are.

I can send you a speedo cable and a boot for the gearbox bellhousing. For $60 posted. Pm me if it sounds good?
