Jimmy,
Your help is appreciated. Will order a set tomorrow. I need to come in at 305mm or more so it all looks ok to go ahead with.

Thanks,
Rhys

you could always play it really safe and get the std height and go for the 4WD look - then later "trim" a coil after dealing with regency....

Hi Rhys,

I measured mine and it came in at 290mm. I have a photo on my phone, if you want a look PM me with your number and I'll send it to you. I still haven't confirmed the actual spring as yet as I need to jack her up, but can probabally do so tonight for you once the rats are in bed. The springs were in the car when I brought it and are a few years old, but the car hasn't done many km's in that time.

Cheers

James(jimmy) I put an order in this morning for the lowered version.

JamesR, thats quite low. How does it handle and steer being that low? Any pics?

Teeg, PM sent.

Thanks all.

different strut tops could change that measurement also, imo they(kffl13) are pretty crap springs, they are on my todo list!!

Joey,
Most porgressive rate arn't that good IMO. I was going to get a set of Industrial springs but the price comparison with Kings didn't make it worth it. This cars never going to be on rails as Im running 155's on the front. Anything will be better than what's currently in it.

Agreed progressives are not the ideal sporting solution, but horses for courses - given the goat tracks we have in NQ that they call roads I need to run something with a bit of 'give'.

For reference I'm running Kmac adjustable strut tops I fitted in the early 90's, these ones are the original, more utilitarian version that didn't have the seal plug; seem to be more robust than the latter versions...

Cheers
