Can anyone remember the name of the company that made an adapter for the supra 5 speed that allowed the original bell housing to be retained?  Thanks.

The only manufacturer I know of that makes adapters allowing you to use your original bell housing is Castlemaine Rod Shop.

Hope that helps.

Hi Steve

the company thats been around for decades doing "Adaptor Plates" is DELLOW CONVERSIONS, REVESBY , NSW

Months ago we discussed Master cylinders.  I'm happy to say my D-Port 165HP Special has only done 40,000 miles so the Master is a "virgin"(never re-sleeved).............put a Major Kit in it and no more leaks, plus better brakes.
The "design" leaves a lot to be desired, so hoping to experiment with different Masters as I have many NOS in stock.

Cheers

As far as I'm aware Dellow have only ever cast entire bell housings, as opposed to making adapter plates, to suit Escort/Capri/Cortina engines. Historically Dellow's cast bell housings have proven problematic for our applications. This is why the CRS adapter plate conversion is the preffered option.

Not sure CRS do the adapter plates anymore.  The ones from 10-20 years ago were not quite right and needed modification to fit.  Pretty sure when Hadfield sold the business the new owners dropped the V6 adapter.  If you hunt around you might find the factory adapter ford used to mate the V6 box to the 2 litre pinto on the TC cortina, that might be a good start

I use a Dellow bellhousing, Toyota Supra W58 to Pinto. It has been fine, no problems to report. Good to know CRS is another option

Thanks everyone.  I rang Castlemain and they don't have anything so its Dellows or get an adaptor custom made.
