Hi all, I got a phone call from a lady with a 1 owner 1600GT capri, her carb is buggered as the screw holes in the main body are stripped beyond repair.  This car is her daily driver and she is in country Victoria.  I need a Manual choke weber to replace it, even just the main body housing ASAP, PM or call me 0409091252 cheers JR

Thanks, its worth grabbing as manual chokes are hard to find, PM me how much you want and ill let her know.  She also needs an interior light which I think is Escort style as its a UK delivered car originally (bought new in New Guinea in 1969 an brought over with her in the 70's).  Also a set of hub caps and the multi slotted aluminium dress rings (usually seen on MK1 cortinas)

The carb I have is actually a 32DFM, which I think is the original GT/XL version (or Cortina). Original made in Italy.

It is the sequential opening type (primary then mechanical secondary), and looks better than I remember. It will need a stronger return spring for the choke lever, and is missing one of the air mixture screws from the base.
