found this little gem in the rear of an old mk1 rally car, does anyone know where it's from??

Its just a Borg Warner. It could be out of anything from a MK1, to a Corona, Datsun 200B, Stanza, or any number of cars from the late 70's / early 80's.
 
Just saw the tag on it, That tag is definitely Ford so i would be betting its just a MK1 Escort housing or perhaps TE/TF Cortina

thanks Gdub, the only reason i thought it was from another car was that it looks like its been shortened or cut & welded (see the 3rd picture) so assuming its standard it's ussless in a car with over 200 HP? well at least it will be a rolla then, thanks
