Hi,
Getting a bit frustrated here with the twin 40 Dcoes on a 1600 (ported, big valves, etc), 638 grind cam. Its constantly fouling the plugs (1 & 4) are the worst and really doesn't want to idle or even clear up to rev.
I've checked the jetting which matches with a few sources of std settings for a mildish 1600, float heights were way too high (about 5 mm), so I've reset them to 8.5 mm.
Not sure where to check now. I'm going to double check that the fuel pressure isn't too high, but given I'm using the stock pump I would have thought it would be ok.
Any thoughts ???
