I am looking for a pair of the above to do a coilover conversion.

Does anyone have a set lying around surplus to requirements I could buy?

Watch out for Troy, lots of promises & no follow through. Check my WTB for Crossmember etc. early January - this lamer offered me those struts as well, sent pics - then nothing. Totally lame.

Yep,lame,thats me all over,i've never had a problem with anyone on here that i have sold parts to,and Ian if you want new parts for your car maybe you should go and buy a new car and sell your Escort to a gentelman that knows exactly what direction they are going to build the car,first you wanted 1600 struts to coilover convert,then you wanted 2 litre struts so i thought you may have liked a set of straight 2 litre struts ready for the conversion,and then you go on about Rhys offering you bent junk or something like that and struts with the spring seats cut off which i offerd you,and thats when i just could'nt be bothered with you and to top it off my computer crashed trying to send you photo's of the crossmember because i don't think it could handle trying to send 21 photo's.
Any way thanks for making the forum a place to slander other's you tool.
And sorry to you Matt for filling your thread with utter cr_p.

If you haven't had any luck yet there is a 2 Ltr at Pick a Part in Kilsyth that still has the struts intact, they could do with a good clean though. They have 2 Escorts there and it's the blue one down the back.
