Premacist (Jeff) Thanks for putting my other post there, i havn't a clue how to do it.
The last time my thrust bearing went like this (around midnight on a weeknight, about 10 years ago) my old man towed me home with his Landrover Defender. He brought a chain and not a rope. The chain went from his tow hook then wrapped around my cross member and to this day i swear he was trying to rip the front end of my Escort off at every set of lights we stopped at, He has since told me he was giving it a good shot. We have a good laugh about it nowadays but i learn't my lesson very quick and made damn sure that problem never arose again.
I hope this helps anyone else, so they don't have to learn the hard way.
Cheers, Richo
