Ok time has come to part ways with the supercharged setup I have in my MK1 and try something different.... (I still have a M90 in the shed for later) any way quite a few of the members will have seen this in my car and in action and its pretty damn good, pulls from anything much above idle, tops out at 12psi 6000rpm.

95kw/128hp at the wheels

Basically, I have had this setup for a long time and spent loads of time and money to get the most out of it, no doubt there is more you could do with it, but I decided to go down the path of injecting the current setup, that was over 2 years ago, it hasnt moved under its own power since, the injection didn't work the way I wanted and could not be tuned and so we started working on a non legacy manifold (start over) this manifold is still being built !!! cut a long story short I have a awesome NA pinto, that has been detailed and worked over going to waste sitting on a stand in the shed so last year I bought some quad throttle bodies and plan on enjoying some angry NA power for a while and would dearly like to get the car tuned and on the road, thats where selling this setup comes in to the plan.

So what do you get ?

2L Cortina Motor (rebuilt before I got it, compression on all cylinders)
*Tidied up ports and changed valves to suit unleaded
*Stage 2 Camtech Cam
*Adjustable Cam Vernier (has a slight hairline crack, never worried about it)
*Extractors (have been welded before)

2in SU carb, remote fuel bowl under guard
*Airbox with bellmouth
*K&N Filter
*Alloy shroud

Cobra electronic ignition module in std dizzy recurved to suit

1GGZE Toyota Supercharger
*12psi pulley
*Modified inlet manifold
*Extension and chromed steel plate (alloy one bent so replaced with steel one, belt runs true 100% of time)

Probably some things I haven't mentioned so please ask, emails please to shieldsy@y7mail.com, I have tried to update my profile email but cant seem to either email on the address in this post or text me on 0414851131 and I will call you.

I am located in Tamworth, the engine is still in the car and will be pulled when I have a buyer or middle of next month whichever comes first, I will package up the engine on a pallet and deliver to the freight depot in Tamworth you can do the rest.

This is an expression of interest, if I can have a commitment before I pull it out it would be fantastic otherwise I will list on ebay once I get some time and the engine is out.

I haven't seen many other supercharged Escorts, plenty of people that reckon they will do it, not many who have, this engine has done track days, fast road and crusing and is really unique.

Have listed this setup on Ebay now starts this Thursday.

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=260644191835#ht_602wt_1137

Engine is out of the car and injected 2L is in and just being plumbed and wired over the next few weeks.

Will be sad to see this engine go, has been bloody good, always had good oil pressure and has taken everything I've thrown at it, blown up diff's , clutch, tyres but the engine keeps going as strong as the day we put the charger on.

oh man, this is so tempting.
what freight depots are in your area?
it looks pretty tight in the MK1 bay, how do you think it would go in a MK2?
i wonder how the old Auto would go.. haha

Throw me one I can only say yes or no.....

Would fit fine in a MK2 bay as we use a MK2 front cut to dummy up everything before it was fitted into MK2.
