Hello everyone, as the title suggests, I am looking for a pair of front struts to suit a 1976 Escort Mk2 1300/1600 Panelvan. These have the large pitch circle diameter top stud mounts.

These are basically the same struts as for the 1600 sedans for the first couple of years of Mk2 production.

Struts complete with springs, platforms, shocks and top mounts would be good, or if anyone has complete Struts with the disc covers, hubs, discs, calipers etc. to suit rebuilding at a nice price, please contact me.

Adelaide pickup preferred, but will consider courier pickup from interstate if I have no luck locally.

Cheers

Just incase you didn't already realise mate, you can put whichever size strut-tops on you like as they are interchangable. cheers

Sounds good, but I thought the 2L - or is it the RS2000 strut tops have a larger hole in the centre for the strut shaft to pass through? Cheers [x2x]

Thanks for your reply Mark, but I am not sure if Mk1 & Mk2 Struts are the same - mine are using Metric Tie Rod Ends, (not sure if the tapers are the same as Mk1) and the Mk2 wheel studs are M12 x 1.5mm - Mk1s I believe are UNF...

Thanks anyway, will try and source locally if possible, at least I can compare any differences. Cheers
