Yep. 8 thou inlet and 10 thou exhaust.

Most aftermarket cams state 10 thou inlet and 12 thou exhaust.

After you have checked each valve clearance between the valve and follower.
Not between the cam lobe and the follower.

Tap each follower with your finger and try to make it drum.

If it's ticking with a finger it will be noisy when running.

how the hell are you supposed to do that? are there specially suited feeler guages to fit in there?

Mark it's between the cam lobe and follower as doing it under the valve will increase the clearance and will make it more noisy as I hope you haven't done that to yours

Im sure it works for you Mark but it should be done between the cam lobe and cam follower pad,what clearance do you use between the valve and follower tip? and why do you do it this way?

Oh and back to the question I aim for .2mm /.22mm for a happy and followers,on inlet and exhaust.
