Geoff, you and Shaun know what this car means to me, i wish i could finish it, i have heaps of ideas and there were i few things i would like to have done that i haven't seen before on Escorts but to be honest i have just lost motivation. I have the money to finish it, just dont know if i can justify spending the cash to build to the standard that i want.

Just got promoted at work, so have to make place for a new company car, and after doing the engine conversion on my beemer i realised that i dont need massive power to have fun, although it helps!

Maybe revisit it in 10 years, but most likely that mk1 coupes will be stupidly priced by then!...

For anyone considering this, it is an absolute steal.

If I wasn't getting married in 3 months it would be mine.[8~2]

Nigel is a perfectionist, (it is part of his job) and the quality of his work reflects this.

Really hope this goes to someone who can finish the car to the standard it deserves.

Best of luck with the sale.

Nige, I'll be in touch over a few of your other spares....[:I]

Have you still got my block sitting around???

Hi Nigel,
shame about the sale. What are you planning on doing with the BBS wheels? If your keen to sell them I would be interested in buying.

Shaun thanks for the nice words. I do indeed have your block and a few other bits (pinto oil pump and pickup pipe). Come visit in a few weeks... or after the honeymoon when youre allowed to buy stuff again [:p]

Dominic, i was thinking of keeping them as they are tricky to come by. They are 5x114.3 (falcon/nissan) pattern if that suits you? I will contact you once ive sold the rest. Also have lots of spare hoops to go with.

Kieran, look forward to seeing you and your father this weekend, you guys are the lucky first ones to come look

nige.
