what's a "good" quality head gasket brand? ive always used the same gaskets

from this guy on ebay selling a bunch of NOS gasket sets..never had a problem, until now..

now my head may have been warped when i put it back on (haven't sent it off to be checked yet)

but gasket seriously did not last long... it completey blew a decent chunk out between 1 & 2...

and by the looks of it, 2 & 3, and 3 & 4 were leaking to each other.

no wonder it was barely running that day - not running at all now.. lol

the reason i ask this, is a went through 3 head gaskets on my old motor (not from blowing, just modifications..) and this is the first gasket on my new motor, lasted a week haha

thanks!

also what is the recommended torque measurement for an ARP head stud kit?? i lost the little bit of paper that came with the box lol..

Felpro headgaskets never fail!
Even when the radiator sounds like a kettle.

Rhys, 2lt-scort has sold headgasket kits on here. cheaper than what i can buy them for.

To my knowledge not available any more, and there were varying degrees of quality due to so many part number changes at Ford.

Use a Felpro
