By hook or by crook, its gotta be right and work properly.
For over 30 years of RWC Testing/Examining, it was never ending heated arguments from clients accusing me
of being too strict, pedantic and "looking for un-necessary jobs" for faults just like this.  This was just one reason RWC Tests got dearer and dearer so that theyre now $100-200 just for first Test.
