I'm about to refit sunroof in my escort ( I know not ideal but its how it came and its grown on me)
When I removed it there was a gasket which I haven't been able to find or anything to replicate it.
So I was going to fit with sikaflex .
Has anyone an idea on whether that would be suitable or a better product

I used Windscreen sealant mastic on the last sunroof i installed as it stays pliable and won't harden which is ideal cause the roof actually flexes when the sunroof is being used . Sika will do a similar job and use lots as a leak ain't fun

Definitely don't use Sikaflex.
One day you, or someone else may need to remove the sunroof which will then be very difficult.
Best to use a gasket and a thin smear of non drying windscreen sealant.
