It really surprises me how good these things look with a nice bit of paint, dead stock but dropped 2 or 3 inches. Awesome!

Last pic is photoshopped as how I'd have it if it was legal to do so.
Doesn't actually sit that low 
 
It a matching number 1300 manual (originally auto).
All done keeping to as much of the period/original look as possible.
Mk2 2lt struts, brake/rack etc, anti dive.
 
I will update with engine bay and interior pics when its closer to finished. Still to put a new rear parcel shelf and ash tray section in.
Engine bay needs sports air filter removed in place of a Factory steel air cleaner etc.
 
Wheels are banded I think? Two I had and two I sourced via Gumtree, 13x6 and 13x7, had them blasted and powdercoated.
 
Scott it just ran out of rego but as soon I have a new exhaust on it (next 2weeks I hope) I will re-rego and hope to drive out to Small Ford Day.

i did think to myself it didnt take you long to drop it haha.  
 
yeah no worries ill probably drive out there for a look. probably not going to enter this yr though.

That is a cracking mk1 Rhys. Love the stock look with those wide steels too.
