I recently bought a new one for $80 including postage on Ebay UK, so they do pop up from time to time.
It was a "Moprod" branded one. They want crazy money for NOS Ford senders if you can find one.
Cheers, Jason.

So I gather there isn't aftermarket items. Looks like it may take a while, there is a nos Ford one for $275 at the moment.

Not sure where you are based but any instrument repairer can fix your old one for way less than that!
In Melbourne there are a few without even searching. Ringwood Speedo services, Howard Instruments in Heidelberg, Auto & Marine Instruments in Moorabbin.
