No worries guys I'll have a look into an 3.89 r31 for the meantime and upgrade to an lsd later.

I hope I'm not clogging up the threads I've honestly spent the last two days trying to find an answer.
Because the r31 diff is offset does it mean that the tailshaft doesn't fit properly?
If so how much do you have to cut the diff down by?
From what I can read standard escort diffs are around the 1350 mark and this is 1450 which will give me about 2" a side which is what I'm after.
