Looking at the attached photo, could i seek the answers to two questions.
 
1) Are these the correct door light switches in the front doors or a 4 door 1980 RS2000?
2) Do these cars have any door light switches in the rear doors? (i cant seem to find them). If they do, were are they located?

Just asking the question again. Does anyone have a 1980 4dr that they could have a look at to see if these are the correct switches, and if they are in the rear?

those dont look like original door switches,those are aftermarket ones.

Except that there is one on each of the front doors.
 
Is that the normal position that the door light switches should be?

Correct postion, but not original switches, no rear door lights on any factory four door

i guess i need to mark it down as another thing to buy then!
