This car was brought by my mate in Tassie a few months ago the fellow he got it of is 93
he brought the car for his wife in 1970 his wife died about 8 years ago . The car was always in a shed and still is it has never been sprayed or bent is totally as it was brought .
Done 49000 miles from new it is the best standed Escort i have seen it is a 1300Super.

Lovely car in such good condition. Do you know his plans for it? Would be nice to keep it original but would also make a great base for something special

He has gave it to his wife to take to motor shows so it in a shed with a car cover
on it .He has a rep rs2000 mk1 a four door mk1 a mk1 with a zteck in it he has just finished
three other mk1s two doors to be done up a sundowner van. 2 mk2 Escorts and about
5 or 6 ones for parts.

Hi no has never been sprayed it is totally as it was brought it still has all the books
in the the car it drives like a new car. when he brought the car he was going to put minilites wheels on i
told him to give it to his wife and not to touch you just do not find them like this any more.

Agree, leave it totally stock inside and out.......except with a Duratec under the bonnet backed up with a type 9.

What a great legacy to be able to show younger generations what cars of 30+ years ago looked like when "new".
