Mickas, don't be sorry we are all here to learn. Which part are you referring to? the latest 2pictures?
The only part that joins to plastic is where EFI hose connects to fuel rail and it has a little plastic hose connection about 2" long. I can't see the problem though as this is factory and alot of car run plastic EFI lines. My lines running under the car are all metal everything else is EFI hose except for some of lift pump hosing.

Or if your talking about the black u-shapied piping that connects to EFI pump, thats metal too, came from an XE falcon wagon and thought it may make things easier.

Yes will book it in once I can tell whether or not I can get it driveable or not. If I can drive it, I reckon I'll take it out to Mike Dale, if I can't get far it will go to BDT at Blackwood.

As fas as SFS goes, Im all booked to go thats how serious I am, gota be on Spirit of Tasmania sunday night (5th) so I've got to be in Melbourne atleast that day so why not come for the weekend Blue Escort is not so serious, bout a 25% chance of me taking it at this stage.Big call taking that on a over 2000km trip just after I've got it going again. But you never know [;^)]

I have to agree that it is better to proof test a car a little closer to home first. can save headaches, $$$ and[:I][:I][:I][:I].
