Yes dyno will be interesting. I'm trying a different tuner this time though so it's not going to be perfect comparison. I'm confident theres more gains to be had through fine tuning of ignition side of things.
The block fitting was made up for me by a mates Dad, just a brass bung machined to fit the block. Here's a pic.

Dave, your old motor is still sitting on engine stand. I just bought myself a dial indicator gauge to dial in cam properly and get valve/piston clearance measurements on it. I've lost enthusiasm on it, but its coming along slowly. Could be a back up for this Escort one day.
