Michael,
No idea on air filters yet, need to get it running first. I'm assuming I'll find some sort of sock filters, possibly at a Motorbike shop but sidedraft weber ones would have to be similar in size so they're also a possibility.
The hose length was never supposed to be that long but the radiator hose i tried initially to join them with, I cut too short and TPS just touch number 4 on dizzy cap so I got 4x 100mm sections so I had alot to play with and cut them down to 95mm then decided I'd leave it and see how it goes. Might need to go less again to fit filters on.

Dave,
I need to sort wiring on TPS, Im not 100% what wires what. Then need to properly mount manifold and connect fuel lines and i reckon it should be about ready. Oh I need to find another coolant temp sensor alos as one wire broke off mine today right at base of sensor so I cant re-join it.
Also unsure about which fuel regulator to use on the setup.

Dan,
Thanks mate but only need to relocated fuel reg and cut line to suit. Might flare fuel reg lines in he future though, once I know its running.

Glenn,
Have another beer.....mum kindly donated the granit. She says alloy manifolds bring out the shine better.

Have a look on eBay.com for your intake filters for bikes - there's a fair selection available to suit the GSXR throttle bodies. Price including freight I think is reasonable.

Looking good by the way

The problem I have with air filters is if I put trumpets on none will fit anymore. What I was thinking was a box aroud the 4 intakes leading to a large pod filter under the nose.. If the pipe used is large enough it should not introduce a restriction and will provide cold air..

Got it running! Woo hoo. Now to iron out a few bugs, tidy a few things up, sort a better accel cable setup and rego before test drive.

I request 48hrs in each day to help get this done.

How much was the mamifold etc to get made up?

The reason I ask is that I have a set of the same throttle bodies sitting here on my desk.

Dont happen to have a spare do you?

If its all too hard I might just throw them back on eBay or offload them here,

Shaun.
