So the blokes at NPC assured me they have a 10" single plate button clutch that will hold 600hp at the wheels, which made me very happy seeing as it's half the price of their twin plate, and I won't get that much hp from the current turbo, so it'll hold up just nicely.

While I was at it I bought one of their lightweight finned flywheels.

My escort also has Ceramic coated headers and yes its just about grab-able straight after a drive. I will be getting my cosworth manifold and read housing done for sure. Its a worth while investment and its not even expensive.

The riceline is looking sweet too Juiceman should be a rocket ship when its done mate.

jus get the rear housing and manifold hpc coated... thats wat im doing with mine...
the cry02 will only really lower intake temps... wont do much to exhaust temps...
definately wont have to cut a hole in the bonnet... jus get a heat sheild made up they work oright...

I did look in to HPC coating but I won't be able to HPC coat the rear housing on this turbo because the jerk who did the downpipe welded it to the turbo so I can't get it pulled apart.
I'm pretty p!ssy about that! So I may need a beanie after all.
I'm planning on getting a good manifold and a Borg Warner S372 in the future anyways so I will get the coating done on that one for sure.

I'm so sick of driving the NX...it's desperate for attention too. Drive shafts are knackered which means no more J-turns for me hahaha.

Haha I reckon!

Chose the Borg because they're cheap as to rebuild and the S372 from Bullseye has been proven to flow similarly to the GT42 at less than half the price. Plus they sound like a T51R hahaha.
Guys in the US are running crazy times with Borg Warners (normally S472s) on 1J's and 2J's, and I know JZ's outflow RB's, but I figure if I go for a slightly smaller one it should work out just nicely, plus I can 2-step the ar5e out of it and it'll only cost me $80 to rebuild haha.

So my plan was to get the motor in yesterday, but other things came up and we only managed to get all the pumps and sensors and other stuff on. Just need to put the clutch and gearbox up now then it'll be ready.

The cam covers need to be painted again, I'm thinking of stripping them back and going for a different colour. Matte black is pretty cool but a lot of people are doing it now.

Hey mate, RB's aren't known for good fuel economy, but I think that has more to do with the type of people who drive them and how they drive them. 33s have a 50L tank and I once got 400km's from a tank with about 4 or 5 litres left, but normally it would be around 350km to a tank (bare in mind that's with 740cc injectors). A standard 33 should see around 10-11L/100km on a good tune. The factory claims 9.8L/100km.

They have awesome A/C also.
