Hey guys the dumb questions will begin!

For a Type 9 to RS dash is the speedo cable any different to normal?
Where about would i get one from?

Also the gearing for the speedo is out about 30-40kms so looking at changing the gear-drive for it where would i source them from?

2 litre cortina cable out of a TD-TE-TF is the one you want, its rounghly 300-400mm longer.

cheers yeah i had heard that the cortina was longer and a little better so when you pull the dash out it would pull out further allowing for disconnecting.

Just making sure it was the same cable

Thanks, i ordered some (and spares) from the UK as in Aus the cost was quite high, esp. for clutch cables!



Anyone know where to best get the speedo gear for the Type 9, 5 speed from??
