Before you do that, consider the price that complete rear quarters go for. Get a big grinder, cut both rear quarters out and list them on ebay. Then take the rest to the crushers.

Cut through the top of the B and C pillars just below the roof. Cut through the sills in the door opening. Then cut through the rear panel, rear scuttle and floorpan. It's a bit of work to get them out but worth it. I've got a pick of a Mk2 rear panel cutout. I'll see if i can find it.

Thats it after i butchered it.

You also cut the floor panel so the wheel wells are intact.

Always. People don't normally scrap 2 door shells and the replacement parts are worth a fortune if you import them.

Have a look at www.steelpanels.co.uk and price a new rear quarter for a mk1.

Where about's are you?
I need a roof repair section for a sunroof that I want to get rid of.
If I give you measurements of where I need you to cut & then freight it? I am in Melbourne.

And fordsy, i wouldn't normally scrap anything, especially an escort, but i don't really have the room for it and i couldn't even give it away for free, and that was with the doors glass and diff still in there. thats the only reason it is going to the wreckers.
