Well, I bought some Koni shocks for the rear of my Mk2. Just wanting to know if anyone can decipher the instructions for me of how to adjust them. [x2x] I failed at Ikea furniture assembly because of the instructions.

I think in this case a few written instructions wouldn't have hurt.

Craig.

You need to fully compress the shock then turn one way or the other! you'll probably only get about 5 half turns out of it but from full clockwise or anticlockwise there is heaps of difference. My recommendation is use the softess setting and depending on how often you drive it maybe a year down the track stiffen it up half a turn again.

See how you go

Cheers!!

Thanks for all the info. My last question is will I have to adjust them to the lowest setting or should they already be preset there?

Regards,
Craig.

Don't assume they are set. You should really set them to the lowest setting first, and see how they work for you. Thats why there are the Koni red and the sport koni yellows. The idea is you adjust over time to increase the ability of the shock
