Does anyone know where I can get the spring clip that holds the clutch thro out bearing to the actuating arm?, thanks.

What clip are you talking about. I just put my engine back in and there was no clip on the thrust bearing. Cant see anything about a clip in the books but this post has made me very nervous.

Yes there should be a clip to tie the throwout bearing housing to the actuating arm. So when the clutch pedal is raised the actuating arm pulls the throwout bearing back off the clutch fingers. Otherwise the bearing will continualy rub against the clutch and over time will become very noisy.

The spring in the clutch pedal tries to pull it to the floor and the only thing stopping it is when the bearing hits the clutch fingers. The clutch cable pulls the bearing onto the fingers. There is nothing to push it away from the fingers so not sure how is it possible to keep the bearing off the clutch fingers.
