Hi guys as you would all noticed by now there is a black v6 on feebay at the moment.. Good project for someone .. Ive just noticed what is the go with the rear seat and centre arm rest? was that an option? It has the gt optioned up wheel as well. pity I have got no more room and my shed.. Got your shed up yet Ron??

My bet is it is a 3000E. Look at the instrument cluster it has a padded black fascia, the seat insert pattern and arm rest rear seat are a giveaway (no holes for the ID plate in the heater bubble poss hinting its an import)

This car has been on ebay a few times, and in the Trading Post a while back. I have spoken to the guy and he sent me an email with basically the same pics that are on ebay and some other details including the chassis number which was the UK 'BB.....' number.

The rear seat was an option on the pommy cars. both our v4 have them, as they are gt xlr's, like the 3000e. i have just keep the green one's for my red v6. )

No permit yet Matt, but they promised me it will be soon. Holdup has been the boundary relaxation requirement.
Ive got five cars parked outside at the moment (not the capri) so Im glad its not hailstone season.
I bought one of those supacheap car covers that supposedly keep the rain off for the esky and soon after putting it on the rain fell for about a week. When the sun came out again I pulled the cover off only to find that all the windows were fogged up....on the inside! Seems water leaks in both sides of the windscreen and because its not cold up here the whole thing turned into some sort of prehistoric mould machine. Even the steering wheel leather turned green. I was totaly mortified.[xx(]
Im beginning to understand how classic fords all seem to have this strange musty dank smell inside.

i bought a rs3100 dash from a bloke in SA the other day, i got talking to him and he has a mould of the parcel tray and is getting some fibreglass one made.

Whilst we're on the subject....

I took my rear seats to my upholsterer yesterday to tidy up but we found that some one who was blind or drunk (or both) has allready attempted to recover them, but not very well.

I'm getting them totally redone now and I desperatly need pics of the rear seats just so he can have a look at pipeing, style etc so i can get them spot on like the factory.

My seats are the split ones with the armrest in the middle
