I have been wanting to convert my Mk1 to the 4 light front end some time but all I seem to do is collect bits that aren't quite right lol. Tbh I haven't put alot of effort into it but let's just say don't buy Datsun lights as they are offset rofl. I have a set of fibreglass repro surrounds and a replica fibreglass bonnet .. I need some buckets that I dont need to cut up and reweld etc. It would be nice to have one thing on this damn car that I didn't have to modify. I saw that back in the day you could buy some reproduction parts but am unsure where to get them or if they are still in production. Thoughts, suggestions, instructions and donations all welcome.

I have MK3 headlight............

I used HQ(?) Holden buckets with repro surrounds when I did mine many moons ago.

i had the same idea a few years back and bought a nice set of RS2600/3100 lights - put them in but didn't like the bonnet overlapping the light slightly - so took them out (still in the shed somewhere) , i wouldn't do this conversion without the proper bonnet - it just dosnt look right to me - maybe one day i'll get the bonnet to match my lights

in the mean time i went down the H4 headlights and original spotties converted to Halogen - night into day !!

You can buy "facelift" fibreglass bonnets locally, problem solved.

Ive heard of Alfa quad lights being used??

I can make up a mk1 capri update/RS3100 bonnet with inner frame, i'm in Adelaide so posting can be a hassle .
